Back in the early 90s, I proposed a story idea to Snowboarder magazine, let's build the biggest and best halfpipe possible, invite the best riders, and see what they could do. That culminated in the first-ever event where riders rode a super-size halfpipe. It was up in Blackcomb on the glacier in the summer. Brushie was one the stars of the event. This was before there was even such a thing as a pipe dragon.
